CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-
Figueroa states that Puerto Rican issues are not a priority in Osceola County, mentioning that in Hwy 192, there are homeless Hispanic people and no help is provided. Regarding the Puerto Rican parade, Figueroa mentions that it was very hard at the beginning because of discriminatory conflict with a politician over the location of the parade.
