CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

After being elected to the House of Representatives, Badillo was appointed to the Agricultural Committee, a decision that he fought in order to get it revoked, and he was later appointed to the Education and Labor Committee. Vlasto explains the role of the media in this issue and the positive influence of Badillo’s staff in Washington.
