Interview with Gilda Mirós on November 17, 2016, Segment 5, Part 1
Mirós discusses her role as an author, how she started to write and publish books and her strong passion for the preservation of history. After she retired from the media, she decided to produce an audio book that compiled her interviews of the music band La Sonera Matancera; later on she and her brother published a book about the political cartoons published by her stepfather, Fernando L. Conesa. She also refers to her spiritual beliefs, her close relation with her mother and her publications “Alas Misticas” and “Memorias de los Espiritus.” Mirós explains that while she wrote these books she was a full time caregiver for her parents.
