Glasser talks about her friendship with a Puerto Rican/Cuban classmate and how trough him she became aware of the Latino culture. She describes the first time that she heard Salsa music, her trip to Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico and the role of Latinos during the 1960s racial polarization.
