CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

González talks about the San Juan Bautista Parade’s Coronation Pageant and the Luncheon for Senior Citizens. These are two of several activities during a month of programming leading up to the parade and festival in Camden at the end of every June. González describes these activities as important vehicles for passing on Puerto Rican heritage and for “maintaining the culture into the future.”
