Question Asked: If Puerto Rican students in college were interested in recreating a similar group with similar goals, what advice would you give them?
His message for students would be for them to be honest with themselves and the community. He adds that the students would need a base to support them while also having a connection with the community. He talks about the importance of raising the consciousness of the community and engaging in the every day lives of the people. He concluded by stating the Young Lords Organization failed themselves when they transformed into the Revolutionary Workers Organization.
