CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-
Cartagena describes how difficult it was to be raised in a community in which his true roots were not celebrated, and where immigrants' fights were always an issue. In addition, Cartagena expressed how the music of any culture nowadays is being mixed with different type of music from diverse cultures due to the fusion of people from different countries.
