Rossana Rosado discusses her early life growing up in the Bronx in a Puerto Rican family and her successful professional path that includes becoming the first woman editor-in-chief of the newspaper El Diario. Besides her role in the media, Rosado talks about her active career in government and nonprofit organizations. She also touches on issues of identity, the influential people of her life and her encounter with sexism and racism inside and outside the workplace. Rosado finishes the interview discussing her role as a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and her future projects.
